Warwickshire performs well against national drug treatment target
The 2010/11 year end figure for the number of problematic drug users (PDUs) in effective treatment (formerly National Indicator 40) has just been released for Warwickshire.
There were 1,103 problematic drug users in effective treatment in Warwickshire in the period April 2010 – March 2011, exceeding the target set as part of the Local Area Agreement of 1,074.
Performance against this indicator was above target for most of the LAA period. This is a significant partnership achievement and shows the benefits of working together to reduce the harm caused by drugs in the county.
