On Wednesday the 17 of October 2012, at around 3pm, your Safer Neighbourhood South Team were in the area of Barton Road and Middlemarch Road of Nuneaton.
Whilst leaving the area, two males were seen with a green Kawasaki 100cc off road bike, being ridden towards the Middlemarch Play Area. On approaching the bike, the male abandoned it and ran off leaving it in the road, police at this time believe it to be stolen.
This was positive work by PCSO6251 GAVIN and PC1687 PAINTER, to reduce anti social behaviour and keep residents from harm.
PC Painter stated: “In the last 12 weeks we have targeted youngsters having off road bikes, 11 bikes have been seized in total, only one being returned to its owner. We will continue to work to reduce anti social behaviour, by gathering intelligence, targeting hotspot areas and warning riders and seizing vehicles where applicable.
