Following the success of this year’s Christmas Crime Prevention Menu to the public giving useful crime prevention messages in the form of a Christmas dinner menu. The Community Safety Team are keen to assist with ideas to help clear up the mess after the party.

Think of all those presents that have been opened and the packaging thrown to one side to be disposed of later. Take a few minutes to consider what to do with the packaging.

Do not place the boxes outside the home in full view, this is only advertising to everyone what is inside the house.

Cut the boxes up and wait till it’s your recycling day before putting them out for collection the alternative is to take the boxes to the recycling centres.
