Earlier this year we welcomed Tony Porter of A Call to Men USA to Warwickshire to deliver this innovative training course which offers a new perspective on understanding and preventing all forms of violence against women and girls.
The event was extremely successful and the Domestic Abuse team can confirm that Tony is returning to Warwickshire on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th September to deliver another 2 day training course.
This is your opportunity to book your place at this event!
The purpose of this training is to provide awareness and education to all those who work or are interested in domestic and sexual violence prevention. This training will provide participants with the tools and knowledge to incorporate prevention efforts in their professional practice and day-to-day lives.
Upon completion of the training:
· Participants will be able to understand and define why there is the need to engage men & boys and how male socialisation contributes to violence against women
· Participants will be able to define what’s required for men and women to be proactive in domestic and sexual violence prevention
· Participants will understand the principles of accountability to women and the communities they work for.
Free to professionals working in Warwickshire
All other delegates: £100
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
