Victim Support is currently looking for 10 volunteers who can help the Domestic Violence and Relationship Abuse Project to provide direct support to children and young people aged 4 to 18 years (up to 25 for young people with learning disabilities) who are affected by domestic abuse or are in / at risk of being in abusive relationships themselves.
The project is a time limited pilot and is funded until March 2015.
Victim Support welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences, particularly those with experience of work with children and young people, counselling, mental health, and other similar areas.

There will be 5 days training in London for volunteers, Dates (tbc) are 6/13/27 February and 5/6 March, all expenses paid by DVRAP.
