Thumbs up – crime down in Warwickshire
Year end Police crime figures show that there have been fewer victims of crime in Warwickshire during the past year.
Figures released this week show that there were 28,331 recorded crimes in the year 2013/14 compared to 29,516 the previous year, a reduction of 1,185.
There have also been reductions compared to the previous year for all three main community safety targets measured by partners at a county level in Warwickshire.
The reductions are as follows:
All violent crime – down 0.5%
Domestic burglary – down 5.2%
Anti-social behaviour – down 1.2%
These are excellent results, and continue several years of reductions in crime in Warwickshire.
