The Police Off-Road bike team were out and about in Nuneaton and Bedworth and North Warwickshire this week. Various locations were patrolled following the identification of hotspot areas through community intelligence.
On Wednesday 28th May a dad with a 3yr old on a quad bike were given words of advice in Keresley, and an orange KTM bike was identified as causing a nuisance on Cedar Road.
On Thursday 29th May the team focused on Picadilly in response to a number of calls from the public and Whittleford Woods and the Camp Hill area. One stolen bike was recovered and a number of the public were spoken to about the project who were very grateful for the work being carried out by the team.
Deployments of the team will continue and focus on the areas highlighted by members of the public, please continue to report nuisance motorbike issues on the Police 101 number, or by visiting http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/dobemin
The project is part funded by Ron Ball, Police and Crime Commissioner.
