#ASH respond to #WHO on e-cig ban

Action on Smoking and Health have responded to the  WHO report on the regulation of electronic cigarettes. They say the majority of recommendations in the report will form part of the regulatory regime in the UK by 2016. The exception is WHO’s call for electronic cigarettes to be banned in public places. ASH has made clear that they supported product and advertising regulations but not inclusion in smokefree legislation. ASH encourages organisations to develop their own policy on electronic cigarette use in the work place.
