A recent letter from Jane Ellison MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Public Health, to Professor Les Iverson, Chair of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, demonstrates the large body of political and public support for the provision of Naloxone, a drug that counteracts the effects of opiate overdose.

Warwickshire’s adult drug and alcohol recovery service, The Recovery Partnership, already provides training in the use of Naloxone and has been supplying single dose Naloxone syringes for some time.
Recovery Partnership services are provided by Addaction and offer a range of treatment services.
