Warwickshire Rural Watch are organising a ‘Barn Event’ on Tuesday 9th June 2015 from 7pm to 9pm at Smithy Farm Shop, Warton Lane, Grendon. CV9 3DU.

The event is for farms and local rural businesses to discuss rural crime and give their views and opinions. Present with be Ron Ball Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Supt Martin Samuel Area Commander for Northern Warwickshire, NFU, Warwickshire Community Safety Partnership and Warwickshire County Council.

There will also be information and displays on crime prevention, Rural watch and an opportunity to book an appointment to have your tools and equipment property marked.

Why a Barn Event?

We need a way of talking to people in those rural areas who are often isolated or in small communities. Best practice across the Country suggests small local events where agencies come to you to discuss issues directly affecting the areas in which you live and do business. The event is an opportunity for you to speak directly with organisations face to face and find a common solution to reduce the fear of crime and crime itself.
