“Your Town, Your Choice” will take place this evening in Warwick Street, Leamington.  The multi-agency event is co-ordinated by Warwick District Council and will promote the theme of “going out, staying safe” with people socialising in Leamington Town Centre.  Supporting the event will be representatives from the Community Safety Team at Warwickshire County Council, Warwickshire Police, Warwickshire Ambulance Association, Police Cadets, Street Marshalls and the Recovery Partnership.

There will be a number of on-street activities including a huge inflatable screen projector displaying health promotion and safety information, a drink-drive simulator, breathalyser tests and a “drinking time machine” to show you what 10 years of heavy drinking can do to your good looks!  There will also be a range of items on offer to lure party-goers in for a chat including leaflets, scratch cards, flip-flops, glow sticks and lollipops.
