#Opioid Painkiller Addiction Awareness Day (OPAAD)
With September being both Pain Awareness month and National Recovery month, the two initiatives come together on September 22nd in the first Opioid Painkiller Addiction Awareness Day (OPAAD).
Opioid Painkiller Addiction can often be an “unintended consequence for some people taking opioid analgesics” and can affect people taking both prescribed medications such as Tramadol and over the counter medications such as Codeine, leading to many of the same issues faced by those who use illegal drugs.
