#VAWG in Warwickshire marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls – Select your drop in – Tomorrow Warwick

25th November marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls, it is the beginning of 16 days of activism against gender based violence. 25th of November is also a date on which the White Ribbon Campaign (men saying no to domestic violence) encourage a lot of activity. Various agencies are organising activity in Warwickshire for this period, including a seminar health services are arranging for today.
Following feedback from front-line professionals throughout the year we have arranged a number of drop in surgeries across the county to run during the 16 days of activism in Warwickshire. Between 12:00 – 14:00 practitioners can drop in and ask questions from specialist services, pick up resources, meet staff and find out more about Warwickshire’s work to end what is sometimes described as the “silent epidemic”

It will also be an opportunity for practitioners to inform the development of a countywide VAWG Forum for practitioners, to complement and support the strategic Board that was established earlier this year.
