Cyber crime is overtaking other types of crime to become one of the biggest issues faced by residents of the county. We are looking to recruit two Cyber Crime Advisors to work with partner agencies, including the Police, Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, Trading Standards and the District and Borough Councils, to develop and deliver an action plan to tackle the problem within Warwickshire. These are new roles funded by the Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner on a fixed term basis. They will be based in the County Council’s Community Safety and Substance Misuse Team which manages a range of projects aimed at reducing crime and disorder and coordinates countywide partnership work on priority issues including substance misuse, domestic abuse and reducing re-offending.
