Pledge your support to #EndHateCrime in Warwickshire #HateCrimeAwarenessWeek

It’s Hate Crime Awareness Week (8-15 October 2016) and the WCC Community Safety Team in partnership with Warwickshire Police have organised a series of pop-up roadshows in supermarkets across the county to raise awareness of hate crime and encourage the community to pledge their support in ending it.

Please drop in to visit us at the following locations this week to sign the pledge and pick up some useful information about hate crime and how to report it:

  • Monday 10th October – Warwick Tesco 11-2.30
  • Tuesday 11th October – Atherstone Co-op 10-11.30 and Bedworth Tesco 12-2.30
  • Wednesday 12th October – Nuneaton Market all day
  • Thursday 13th October – Stratford Tesco 11.30-2
  • Friday 14th October – Tesco Rugby 12-2

Everyone has a role to play in tackling hate crime. You don’t even need to know the victim. The person affected may not realise they have been a victim of hate crime, they may be too scared to report or they may not know how to. hcaw-3

You can report a crime in confidence in any of the following ways:

  • Report online to True Vision
  • In an emergency call 999
