In 2015, the Counter Terrorism and Security Act introduced a new Prevent Duty for specified authorities (including councils) to have “due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism” in the exercise of their functions.

There are two Train the Trainer Workshops to Raise Awareness on Prevent (WRAP) and a general awareness raising WRAP training session arranged for March 2017. For further details see below:
