Warwickshire Local Resilience Forum has today launched the Preparing for Emergencies Guide, a user-friendly guide giving the county’s residents useful information to help them to prepare for any potential emergency, ranging from flooding to the effects that solar activity can have on technology. The Guide is based on the Forum’s Community Risk Register.

Taking as its premise that information on emergencies, however unlikely they may be, is invaluable, the Guide provides the essential information about the risks, what you can do to be prepared and respond; what emergency services and other agencies do to prepare and respond to emergencies, as well as useful web addresses to find out more information.
