Would you like to hear inspiring speakers in Warwickshire on topical issues such as Child Sex Exploitation and Radicalisation?
Warwickshire Race Equality Partnership in association with Warwickshire County Council invites you to attend one of three inspiring new events. This is a rare opportunity to hear from two key speakers:
- The whistle-blower of the Rotherham Child Sex Exploitation ring and the challenges she faced when trying to expose them and safeguard over 1400 children.
- A former foreign fighter who joined Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and now works to safeguard young men and women from similar experiences. Come along and understand extremist ideologies and networks and how we can all help to protect vulnerable people.
We are delighted to be able to invite such public figures to Warwickshire and provide the opportunity for attendees to ask questions about their experiences and challenges.
There are 3 opportunities on the following dates:
- Saturday 25th March 2017 at the Sydni Centre, Leamington Spa – 1pm to 4pm
- Wednesday 29th March 2017 at the Abbey Community Hall, Nuneaton – 6pm to 8pm
- Saturday 1st April 2017 at the Pakistani Community Centre, Rugby – 2pm to 5pm
