Training for commissioned services and providers in Warwickshire
The responsibility to adhere to the Prevent Duty extends to Warwickshire’s commissioned services and providers. The Prevent Duty is in place to ensure that individuals are not subject to radicalisation from any ideology and are not being drawn into acts of terrorism. In order to ensure that services delivered by others in a commissioned arrangement are well equipped with Prevent knowledge and understand how to refer into Warwickshire’s Channel Panel should there be cause for concern, training courses are available to support.
