As part of the programme of activity for the 16 days of activism, Refuge have launched their ‘Violence Against Women Manifesto and General Election 2020’ campaign tool – which you can take a look here: https://campaign.refuge.org.uk/GE2019.
The campaign tool enables anyone to email every person standing for election as an MP in their constituency, and ask them to pledge to prioritise survivors of VAWG if they are elected. The email candidates will receive contains Refuge’s Violence Against Women Manifesto, with 10 policy changes they want to see the next government implement.
The tool will be promoted throughout the election campaign on social media and asking followers to take part up until the General Election on 12th December.
