In partnership with Warwickshire Police, to mark Safer Internet Day 2018 (Tuesday 6th February), we ran a written piece competition based on the two main themes of International Safer Internet Day:

  • Respect Online
  • #BeCyberKind

What We Asked

We asked young people across Warwickshire to write a creative piece – whether a poem, song, rap, or a short story piece – based on either, or both, of the themes outlined above.

The Winners

The top 3 entries in 3 age-based categories were decided by our judges (including PCC Philip Seccombe, Warwickshire’s Young Poet Laureate, and representatives from Warwickshire Police and Warwickshire County Council):

1st Place (6-8 Years Old) = A Boy Called Joe, by Emma aged 7
