Safer Streets
Safer Streets Round Five – Completed
On 31 March 2025 the funding for Safer Streets Round 5 finished. The Home Office have no plans at this stage for a Round 6 of the funding.
We submitted our final return to the Home Office at the end of April 2025 and are pleased to report that we completed all the interventions that we set out to achieve. In the final 12 months new CCTV cameras were installed in Warwick District and Stratford District. Street Wardens were deployed in Warwick District. Over 40 empowerment events were linked to Safer Streets and this intervention continues beyond the end of the funding. We completed a number of community interventions and members of Warwick District were trained for Community safety Accreditation.
We are now preparing an evaluation report that needs to be with the Home Office by the end of September 2025.
